Hey, I’m Chic

Chicago roots.
Colorado home.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and I now call Colorado Springs home. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, beginning with something as simple as a Fuji disposable camera. I did not know it then, but that little camera started a lifelong love for preserving moments exactly as they are: real, emotional, and meaningful.

What draws me to photography is its power to freeze time. One photograph can bring back the laughter, emotions, and small details you never want to forget. That feeling is what drives me every time I pick up my camera.

Outside of photography, my greatest joy is my family. I am a proud husband and a dad to three amazing kids who keep life busy, loud, and full of love. Being a husband and father has taught me how quickly moments pass and how important it is to save them.

MY APPROACH

More than photographs

I want you to remember how it felt.

You do not need to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of a camera. That is my job. I give simple direction when you need it, step back when the moment needs room, and keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

I look for the big moments, but I also watch for the quiet ones: a hand being squeezed, a parent holding back tears, friends laughing between portraits, and the people who showed up to celebrate you.

Whether I am photographing a wedding, engagement, elopement, or milestone, my goal stays the same: honest photographs that feel timeless, colorful, and full of heart.
